First of thanks for taking the time to read this.
My conflict is setting up sub-domain in plesk to match their previous permalinks.
Example:
With the old host- was required to make a directory - install the 3rd party software and then make the sub-domain and link it to the directory.
With plesk - I have to first make the sub-domain then install the software into the sub-domain. However, the permalinks do not match . Therefore I can not install the back-up of the previous WordPress website.
Am I doing something wrong?
