Subdomain doesn't work on domain alias

Hi,

I am new to Plesk and I couldn't figure out the following problem:

I do have domain.net (physical hosting) with domain.com being configured as domain alias.

I have created a subdomain sub.domain.net and I was expecting that sub.domain.com would also work, but it doesn't. I get a Server Default Page instead.

What do I need to do for sub.domain.net and sub.domain.com being "identical" as e.g. www.domain.net and www.domain.com.

Thanks for your help!

Did you create a sub domain that uses .com as the extension? If not you will need to create the subdoman.com and upload files to it. You cannot add a a subdomain to an alias that is not physically hosted.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I see ... I think I will have to work with forwarding then. I guess I will figure it out.

Merry Xmas!
