Subdomain with different port

New Pleskian
Hi all

Apologies if this is a silly question, but I am new to Plesk ( and virtual servers in general ). I have a server running Centos and Plesk 12 and my domain and web site are working perfectly. At present I also have an instance of Dreamfactory running on port 82 (so access it at http://mydomain.com:81 ) but I wondered if it were possible to setup a subdomain with plesk such as http://api.mydomain.com that would load my dream factory instance without forwarding to http://mydomain.com:81 (effectively masking the port number).

Thanks for any help

Kind Regards
Gavin

Hello,

This may be off topic, but may I ask how did you successfully install DreamFactory to your plesk server? I am trying to install one too, but to no success. I am using Putty to access to the server. Plesk version is 12 and running on CentOS. Hope to hear from you. Thanks!
