• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

suexec and configuration

Hi,

I am looking for some help with the suexec setup; I am running SuSE 9.3 & Apache2 with Plesk 7.5 Reloaded.

I have installed Joomla on my virtual server, which I have full root access to.

Unfortinuatly the permissions for php/cgi do not give me full admin access to Joomla however. As a result I have tried to configure suexec which after some research I have found that Plesk uses a different version of suexec than normal. Is this true?

Now my problem begins, I cannot suexec -V to see the configuration for some reason, is this Plesk?

So in all, I really need some help configuring suexec to give my vhosts access to their own content. Can suexec be configured via the Plesk control panel oppose to CL?

Any assistance is greatly appreaciated.

Problem found.

I had to change the php.ini session save to /tmp - that was it.

Joomla works and wasn't suexec problem was php issue.
