  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

switch from dedicated to reseller - need help...

I know it may not be the right forum for this question, but then again.... I've been having my own dedicated server with The Planet for about 2 years now. In those 2 years I haven't able to gain as many clients as expected and I'm therefore considering downgrading to a reseller account.

I'm looking for a reliable US (or UK) reseller that can offer me following: Plesk control panel (linux) w/PowerPack and Sitebuilder. A great bonus would be if the reseller also can offer me following: 24/7 "whitelabel" support via chat and e-mail (ticket) - if I can get a login so that I can follow and support my clients as well then it would be really great. Shell access to my clients accounts would be a big bonus as well...

I'm not looking for the cheapest reseller account I can find, but an reseller account where I can continue to offer my clients the same service as I did before I switched over from dedicated server to reseller hosting.

Any recommendations?

How many domains for the plesk license are needed?

You might go for a VPS instead of a reseller. This will help with the SSH for every client issue as you will affect only your server and not a shared hosting server.

Take Care ;)

yes, I've been considering a VPS solution, but I'm not really sure if this solution would be powerful enough. I would need around 100 Domains - any ideas?

You could get by with a large resource guarantee VPS. I haven't looked around at reseller shared hosting lately.

Good Luck with your move :)
