• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Input The future of Plesk? pros, cons... not a bash the company thread

Regular Pleskian
Hello,
I'm wanting to get the "between the lines" input or valid, honest feedback for the future :) YES, no one has a magic wand that predicts the future.

I've been with Plesk since Version 7 and 90% of really liked it as a control panel. But have many years of doing the same things and ways, I was talking with a new tech support team and he opened my eyes to certain processes, as in "... that was the way it was done 10-15 years ago..."

you should look at X, Y, Z...
and which I have and in the process of moving to new server (which as been a nightmare for me... maybe not a Plesk issue, but it is now part of the conversation) and the reason for this thread.

Looking for feedback and thoughts, and opinions.
I've been on Liquid Web dedicated cloud server for a few years, which has also created issues as of last few years.

The attached image is what AI said :)
thanks for your time!
