Resolved transport plesk_virtual failure

Hello,

All the clients in one of my servers Plesk 12.5 can´t receive or send mails. Also webmail with a 500 error.

I check the logs:

Sep 29 18:17:03 server postfix/qmgr[1134]: warning: transport plesk_virtual failure -- see a previous warning/fatal/panic logfile record for the problem description

Any ideas?

Try to repair/reinstall Postfix. Or if is hard, start autoinstaller switch to qmail and then switch back with a second install. Usually this work. Not a nice way, but work.

Thank you for the reply Ivalics

I switch to qmail and then to postfix without any solution. Webmail does not work with both qmail and postfix and the error still there. How can I repair postfix? Any other solution?

Also with qmail seems that the mails arrive to the server but I can´t access to the mailboxes

Once again thanks for your help. Still the same problem. If I switch to qmail I can receive but I can´t send...

Also I found this error in /var/log/mail.err

Sep 30 10:54:57 server check-quota filter[25138]: User 'postfix' or group 'postfix' doesn't seem to exist.

Sep 30 10:54:57 server check-quota filter[25138]: User 'popuser' or group 'popuser' doesn't seem to exist.

So I don´t know why that users disappear... How can I recreate them?

Problem was fixed. /etc/passwd permissions were incorrect.
