  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Troubled running composer install

New Pleskian
Hi Guys,

I'm new here.

I had a trouble running composer install. I've got "This package requires php ^7.2 but your PHP version (7.0.33) does not satisfy that requirement."
Although I already set my subdomain to version 7.2.

Any thought?

Most probably, the issue is caused by a misconfiguration in composer.json file created in domain directory.
I would like to clarify that composer.json configuration is not related to Plesk and should be performed by the site developer. I suggest you addressing the issue to the composer community.

I provided research on the Internet and found the following possible solutions:

1) Remove composer.lock file and execute "composer install" again:
Error creating a new project using PHP Version < 7.0 · Issue #20214 · laravel/framework
2) Use --ignore-platform-reqs option to ignore PHP requirements
3) Simulate PHP version in composer.json file: Config - Composer

These solutions are described here: Override PHP base dependency in composer
