• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Tutorial Video Pop-Up

Regular Pleskian
In WPB 10 a pop-up window with a tutorial video is showed the first time the application is launched. It is not shown at the next visits - unless you delete the cookies in your browser. This can be annoying for people whose browser deletes cookies everytime it is closed, e.g. for privacy reasons. Instead of using cookies could the settings for the tutuorial video be stored in Plesk?

Hi Dave,

WPB is available for Parallels Automation and as a Stand-Alone, so there might be no Plesk to store our settings in. We understand the problem, though, and we'll try to figure out whether we can painlessly fix it. Thanks for reporting!

Hello Custer,

Thank you for your reply. Maybe these considerations help to figure out a solution: Sometimes different environments require different solutions, so the enhancement could be limited to WPB in Parallels Automation environments while the stand-alone version stays with the cookie method. In my view that is better than the current state as it increases usability and satisfaction for a part of your/our customers.

Have a joyful weekend!
