  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question Two-factor authentication and mobile app

deepnpisgah

New Pleskian
Does the mobile app work when TFA is enabled? I have two VPS hosts, the one without TFA works fine in the app. The one with TFA does not.

Hey, I ran into the same issue a while back — turns out the Plesk mobile app doesn’t really play nice with two-factor authentication. Once I enabled 2FA, the app just stopped letting me in properly.
What worked for me was switching to the mobile browser instead of the app. You’ll still get the 2FA prompt there, and it works without problems. Not as slick as the app, but at least you can manage things on the go.
If you really need to use the app, you might want to disable 2FA just for your user temporarily — though I’d only recommend that if you’re confident in your server’s overall security. Otherwise, stick with the browser for now and maybe let Plesk know you'd like better 2FA support in the app.

MFA is currently not supported for the Plesk mobile app as the same uses XML API to manage Plesk and adding MFA support requires significant changes in the business logic. At this point, there is no ongoing initiative for introducing MFA support for it. If that changes, I will follow up with more details.

Apart from the workaround suggested by @NeoToad , the alternative we can suggest for limiting access from the mobile app is to restrict API access according to the following guide:
