Question Ubuntu 20.04 - Docker Extension

D3nnis3n

Regular Pleskian
Hello,
it seems the Docker extension is not yet available for Plesk used on Ubuntu 20.04?
Is this correct? Is there an ETA when this will be available?

Hi D3nnis3n,

Why do you think so? Have you found any issues?
I have tried do install Plesk and Docker extension and it seems it is working :)

Code:
root@determined-taussig:/home/ubuntu# plesk version
Product version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.30.1
     OS version: Ubuntu 20.04 x86_64
     Build date: 2020/09/18 13:00
       Revision: f7e6406f71737eddd8f48b9c3fe459737e62efe4

root@determined-taussig:/home/ubuntu# plesk bin extension -l | grep docker
docker - Docker

root@determined-taussig:/home/ubuntu# docker -v
Docker version 19.03.13, build 4484c46d9d

root@determined-taussig:/home/ubuntu# docker ps -a
CONTAINER ID IMAGE COMMAND CREATED STATU
S PORTS NAMES
ab461543658d mysql "docker-entrypoint.s…" 2 minutes ago Exite
d (1) 2 minutes ago mysql

The docker container with MySQL was installed with the Docker extension.

Yep, is working for me as well, but the installer does no longer present it. Last time i installed Plesk it was in the list while installing.

Yes, it is true, currently, the Docker extension is not a part of the default "Recommended" preset in Plesk Obisidan and should be installed manually as the other extensions in Plesk Extension Catalog.
