• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Unable to change IP on domain hosting

Hey,

I'm running Plesk 9.0 on one of our Linux servers. One of my client purchased from me dedicated IP for his site a few months ago and currently wish to change back to my shared IP.
The problem is that I cannot do it. I went to Web Hosting Settings, and where it states the IP address there isn't any option to choose another IP.
Since the IP is allocated to this domain, I cannot change it's type neither.

Any help here would be welcome.

First of all, add new IP address to IP pool of Client who is owner of that domain:
Plesk CP > Clients > client name > IP pool (here yu cal also change type of IP address belong to Client)

After that you should get an option allows to change IP for the domain in its Web hosting settings.
