Unable to check directory entry dd51-domainkeys: Invalid argument

AttilaF

New Pleskian
Hello,

I have a challenging problem on Plesk 8.6 (CentOS 5.7).

After a server restart, no mail gets delivered to the mailboxes.
No specific error message back to the sender, or during the SMTP session, everything looks ok, but the messages just disappear.

They're not even in the queue. The queue is empty.

In the maillog (/usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog) I get errormessages like this:

all addreses are uncheckable - need to skip scanning (by deny mode)
and later:
Unable to check directory entry dd52-domainkeys: Invalid argument

Another interesting thing is that I can't turn off domainkeys on the Plesk control panel.
I get this error message (see also attachment):

Error: Unable to change the settings for the DomainKeys spam protection service
Unable to change the settings for the DomainKeys verification service

Domain name resolution works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello!

I have the same problem: Unable to check directory entry dd52-domainkeys: Invalid argument
Do you already have any solution for it?

Greetings

Chairon

Unfortunately not yet. I also posted this on serverfault, neither there have I had success. I'm trying to figure it out myself and will post it here if there will be any result.

Please also let me know if you find something.

Was there ever an resolution to this problem (Sorry to necro an old thread, we are experiencing the same issue, and this is about the only match I could find in google)/

They guys at the server farm think it might be due to a hardware update they did on that node yesterday evening. The situation has improved, but not much. All outgoing mail is now being sent and queued correctly, but all incoming mail is bounced.

Yes, most probably it was the cause even in my case. They did do something with the `iron` and it became functional again. I was running a vserver at Server4You, FYI.
