  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
Hello,

I apologize in advance if I use vague terms, I am French, and although I master a little Shakespeare's language, it may be that some technical words are unknown to me.
That's why I'm going to help with Google Translate.

It's been three days since I've been trying to install Plesk. Unnecessarily.
Indeed, I have tried too many times to install several versions of Plesk (between Plesk 12 and Plesk Onyx 17).

I get several errors during installation and it is impossible for me to access the Plesk, either by the IP address of the VPS, or the host assigned.

I use a VPS in Debian 8 with 2 GB of RAM.

Here are the commands executed (I want to say that I reset the VPS with each new attempt):

# apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get install -f && apt-get install curl
# nano /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 my.domain.com king localhost
IPofVPS my.domain.com king

# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
::1 my.domain.com localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
# nano /etc/hostname
my.domain.com
# nano /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo eth0
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet static
address IPofVPS
netmask 255.255.255.255
broadcast IPofVPS
post-up route add 37.187.129.254 dev eth0
post-up route add default gw 37.187.129.254
pre-down route del 37.187.129.254 dev eth0
pre-down route del default gw 37.187.129.254

dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
dns-search my.domain.com
# nano /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
search my.domain.com
# wget http://autoinstall.plesk.com/plesk-installer
# chmod + x plesk-installer
# ./plesk-installer --all-versions

All stages go well. Until the, I think last step: installation and automatic configuration of all packets. I get full error "Warning" and "Failed to get D-Bus connection: Unknown error -1" :(

I'm attaching my file "/var/log/plesk/install/plesk_17.0.17_installation.log".

I remain available if you have any questions.
I also have Skype (floriaanlry) and TeamViewer if you ever want.

Thank you in advance for your answers.
But I want to clarify: I searched on Google and on the forum, I have not found help fixing my worries ..

What virtualization platform do you use? Maybe Proxmox LXC?
Also I see following list of errors in your attached log:

Try to disable Horde for installation at least. You can install it later after successful Plesk installation.
