  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Unable to "preview" website after migration

linuxKurt

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0
I am back again, doing another trial migration of a wordpress site from an old server to new. The old server is still active and the wordpress site is working on that site.

I migrated the content over to my new server. I have completed the following steps, but when I go to 'preview' the website from the domain listing, it shows the generic index.html page from httpdocs instead of launching the wordpress site.

  1. Database credentials updated and verified. I was able to update WordPress themes for example from WordPress area of plesk.
  2. I have verified that the wp-config.php contains the correct DB user and Password.
  3. wp_options table has correct URL (this is unchanged from migrated site, just double checking)
  4. Below is screenshot of what I get when I click preview from the Domain List.
