On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
It is not recommended to uninstall Apache completely from the server, even if you are only planning to use NGINX. Plesk configures NGINX as a reverse proxy server that works in conjunction with Apache to provide optimal performance for websites. Apache is still needed to handle certain dynamic content and processes. Instead of uninstalling Apache, you can adjust the settings to have NGINX handle most of the requests while still utilizing Apache for specific tasks.
No need to configure any additional NGINX directives in Plesk. If you have the Wordpress toolkit installed with Plesk (which it is by default) the additional NGINX directives are already configured.
