• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Update #41 Question

SirZaito

New Pleskian
Hello all,

After this "night" update, 11.0.9 Update #41, last updated at Mar 10, 2013 03:48 AM. I'm having all my php sessions for login on my sites, failing to login (I even tryed to reconstruct from scratch some simple login systems but the session var aren't passing as they did before the patch). I'm wondering if there's any changes made on this patch that can cause this issue or it's just a coincidence that the system stop working juts after the update was complete.

Thanks in advance.

PS: Soryr if this isn't the correct category to put this issue.

I'm fixed the issue.

For some reason, all the sites, got on a FastCGI plan, I've changed back to their previous plan with apache module and works again.

I didn't even thought about this, sorry. But anyhow, i don't understand why all get on that plan.

Maybe you can check the same BrowserBugs or if the sites works normally on FastCGI activate the sessions that are off by default.

I just changed the plan for that domain.

All domains went to a X plan, where FastCGI was configured:
Service plans > "Plan" > Hosting Parameters > PHP Support -> Run PHP as FastCGI/CGI Application/Apache module

I've moved the domain to their "old" plan, where apache module is set, and all work again as usual.

Wasn't a bug, is just that the patch moved all my domain to a FastCGI plan and I haven't the sessions activated for CGI so they stop working until i put them back to one with apache module.
