• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello, I have Plesk 7.6 in my server, I bought a new server, and I want to know if i can update my clientes from 7.6 to 8.2?

Thanks

I was on the same situation, I called their tech support, and I was told that I need to pay ~500 dollars if I want to upgrade to 8.x
So, i installed 7.6 on the new server, upgraded to 7.6.1, did all the patches /updates..Then asked them for temp license, restored the backup from the old one..Which did not do the restoration properly, Mysql databases for a couple of domains are empty (they were created, but no content from the old server), i had folders with custom permissions - they were not kept on the new server..
Migration tools did not work, I got errors saying that the versions of the agent / manager are different (i downloaded exactly what was on their utilities page for Plesk Windows 7.6).
Overall, it was an experience a little bit painful..
