Hi,
While creating the domain I am getting this error. Update FTP user failed:ftpmng --update-user failed: Virtual host XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX on IP XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX already exist.
I am unable to solve this issue.
I am able to create the domains on different IP but Plesk is not allowing to set the directory permissions for all domains, getting message "You are not allowed to update the permissions". Can I set the permissions manually through OS without Plesk?

The reason of the error is that ftp site was configured manually in IIS. Because of this Plesk is unable to configure IIS in compliance with Plesk database. Try to remove this ftp and run this command to configure IIS:

ftpmng --reconfigure-all

It should help.

If I run this command will all the remaining settings (Other Domain/FTP etc) be preserved or I will have to reconfigure all other settings also.
ftpmng --reconfigure-all

ftpmng --reconfigure-all should correctly rebuild all current settings.

Hi,
The issue seems with the binding of ip address in IIS. you need to check the binding of that specific ip address and you need to unbind it.
Instructions provided by Igor are very appropriate and should work to resolve the issue.i have faced this issue many times and i had to go through some additional troubleshooting steps, i prepared a post so other can avail the benefits of it.
