• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Upgrade 7.5.3 - 7.5.4 no webmail

Hello,

I upgraded from 7.5.3 to 7.5.4 with the autoinstaller. All e-mails looked fine with no errors, but now webmail doesn't work. The server's running Debian Sarge.

The updater shows "Additional Horde (webmail) components for Plesk" is installed and up to date. But, if I go to domain->Mail->Preferences it states that "Webmail component not installed"

I was able to hack the httpd.include file by adding back in the webmail VirtualHost entries from the httpd.include.bak and get it working again, but I have no idea why the control panel isn't working and why the webmail stuff was removed from httpd.include in the first place.

I even tried manually removing the psa-horde and psa-imp packages and re-installing. Same mess.

I'd appreciate any clues. Thanks!

AFAIR, there is bug with packages handling in Debian builds: go to Server->Components page and press "refresh" button. Then webmail support should come into existence.

Worked like a charm. Never would have thought of that... Thanks!
