  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Upgrade 8.4. --> 8.6 ODBC Driver error

I paid 75 bucks for support on issues upgrading to 8.6 and haven't heard a thing.

After upgrading...

My websites could not be accessed via HTTP - FTP was fine using the IP.
COM Components by Persists would no longer work.
DataDirect SequeLink ODBC driver for connecting to a FileMaker database no longer works.

My websites started working after running the Plesk Reconfigurator and then rebooting the VE.
Got the COM components working by manually resetting the file permissions in Windows Explorer.

Still no luck on the ODBC driver and haven't heard a thing from my paid tech issue.

Everything worked perfectly before the upgrade.

I need it working again as I am getting a very ticked off client.
