Upgrade from 7.5.4 > 8.0 hardware change?

I'm wondering.... does plesk 8 require more hardware resources then 7.5.4?

Well, according to some, their non VZ psa8 VE's use a bit more resources.

I use Virtuozzo and have seen no difference in CPU/Mem usage between similar 7.5/8.0 installs.
