Upgrade Plesk8.4 - php5.1.6 to php5.2.x

Hello,

I have tried to update my server since one week. I cannot find any articles for updating my php!

How can I update my php without to destroy my plesk settings?!

Is there any article or description how to do that??

By the way I tried to compile the php version by myself but there was no effect to the webserver (phpinfo() shows me the old version)! Further the yast dont show me any update related to php?!

Some information:
- Plesk8.4
- openSuSE 10.1 <- is this the problem?!
- PHP5.1.6
