  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Upgrade to 10.4.4 Warning(s)

Hello,

i am relatively new to Plesk. I bought it for my Centos 6 Linux server, and got v. 10.3.1. I want to use some features of new Plesk releases (I want to switch my php from mod_php to fastCgi and i realize there is easy way to change php.ini for each vHost on server, which now gives me some headaches, on newer versions of plesk).

i never upgraded plesk in my life.
when i go to upgrade page i get this warning(s):

WARNING: Third-party Yum repository 'cr' is enabled, installation may fail.
WARNING: Third-party Yum repository 'atomic' is enabled, installation may fail.

Since you use one or more 3rd-party repos (say, atomic), be careful when installing different package versions from different repos as this may lead to installation failures. For example, you may encounter a problem if you first install PHP from a 3rd-party repo and then upgrade it using the Parallels repo. To avoid such situations, install and upgdare packages from the same repo.

so i'm unsure about clicking Install or Upgrade product button.

is there anyone who can answer me what is procedure to safely upgrade Plesk to newer version.

Thank you in advance, and sorry if i misplaced this thread.

Drago
