  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Upgraded to 10.4.4 - All sites and control panel stopped working

I have updated Plesk from 9.5.3 to 10.4.4 one after the other, now non of my sites are working and I can't login to Plesk control panel as well.

My product build is 10.4.4 CentOS 5 1013111102.18 (I took it through #cat /usr/local/psa/version). When I enter that to Online Server Support, it says "Invalid Plesk Build" and I can't continue to add a support entry.

When I try to restart Plesk, it states httpd can't be restarted. When I try to restart httpd itself, it fails.

Please help me soon!

Thanks for the reply.

I found that it was due to a problem in conf file (It wasn't correctly replaced by the update script) and it is sorted out. My sites are working now but Plesk isn't (directed to a 404 page). I searched this forum and found that it could be due to a license incompatibility issue when transforming from ver 9 to ver 10. I informed this to fasthosts (uk) yesterday and still the problem is there. I'm going to call them now.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Update:
Just called fasthosts(uk) and their engineers are too busy to update my license key. Since ultimately we pay for the license, it could be good to ask the developers to include a feature to update the license (when it already exists on the server) for the net admin. Since the update scripts are buggy (this is a big and unpleasant problem which wasted lot of time of mine), it would be good to have it as a separate application (not through Plesk panel).
