  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Upgrading from 7.0.3

Hi
Rackspace have offered to upgrade Plesk on our server from 7.0.3 to 7.5.3

We've been using up2date to keep the server patched but have suffered major problems when suexec gets overwritten causing CGI to stop working - apparently this doesn't happen with Plesk 7.5.3, hence the upgrade

Will the upgrade change anything other than Plesk? (ie, will PHP / MySQL etc still be the same versions with the same settings?)

Will all users / email continue to work normally?

Are there any other issues we need to be aware of?

Thanks in advance .........
