• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrading from RH9 to Fedora 3 - Questions

I am going to replace our RH9 servers running Plesk 7.54 to Fedora 2 servers running the same version of Plesk.

Once we have restored to data onto the new servers should all of our php/cgi/sql and websites work without modification or am I going to run into problems?

Reason for the upgrade is the new servers offer a better package for us however the hosting company has changed from RH9 to Fedora 2, so I upgrade I have to accept the change in OS.

If you use Plesk Migration Manager you should be fine. One thing to note is the change of path to the vhost directories, you can search for these forums for details on this.
