  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Upgrading from v11.5.30

CyberShadow

New Pleskian
I am using CentOS, running a VPS with root access.
It seems that my version of Plesk isn't automatically updating. When I go to the settings page, there are no links to allow me to upgrade my version of Plesk. I consulted with my host, and they suggest that because the version that I am using is so old (v11.5.30) I will need to upgrade via SSH. If I go ahead with this, can I directly upgrade from v11 to the current version in one step, or is it better to upgrade to a mid-point first, and if I do find a mid-point, will this open up the ability to upgrade automatically via the Plesk panel?

In general.... Any advice for upgrading from v11 via SSH? :)
Thanks.
