Is this a possible upgrade path that will work? I'm currently at the 4.3.11 version included in Plesk 7.5.6

Thanks,

Of course it is possible to install more that one php on one server but if you want Plesk to recognize it you should install it to %plesk_dir%\additional\php
If you want to use more than php you should install it to different folder, register extensions in IIS and add this extesions to the web site. Also you should give user that is used by IIS for web site or to psacln group read/execute permissions to php folder.

plesk 7.5.6

Have upgraded to 4.4.2 with zend 2.6.2 (from 4.4.1 and 2.6.0)

Problems:

1. services not starting, complaining about php_imap.dll in extensions folder...

2. reverting to old php_imap.dll ... webmail not working anymore

3. fixing include path issues and webmail works, but now I discover the real issue. The server is slow. CPU is going yoyo. Apache is the cause. Turning off control panel service and all is ok. starting apache again and server gets slow.

I think I'll be reverting back to 4.4.1 for now....
