• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

I've tried to upgrade my Plesk from 8 to 8.1.

I started the process, selected the components to be upgraded.

The process had started and I was told that an email would be sent once it was successful

BUT nothing has happened since, no upgrade, no email.

Have I missed something?

Cheers

HI!!

Try to perform upgrade manually on the server:

download installer for you OS version form
ftp://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk8.1

# Change your working directory to the directory where the Auto-installer utility resides, for instance:

# cd /root/plesk

# Set the execution permission for Auto-installer:

# chmod +x plesk_auto_installer_file_name

# Run the Auto-installer:

# ./plesk_auto_installer_file_name

Then just follow the instructions on the screen.

In case of failed upgrade, you can investigate
/tmp/autoinstaller3.log in order to localize error.
