I could not find an answer for this on the forum, even though there was a thread with this error.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION AND STEPS TO REPRODUCE
When I try to edit the Contact Information for a customer and I use a real email address with a domain within that account, I receive the following error: User with such e-mail address already exists in the system.
ACTUAL RESULT
User with such e-mail address already exists in the system.
EXPECTED RESULT
It should update and use that email address. Obviously, you basically have to use an existing email address, unless you have an external address for the customer.
