  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Users accounts and email address since plesk 10.4

Hi,

Since Plesk 10.4, a new check has been added about email address. Now we can't have 2 customer accounts with the same email address. It's really a pain. Let's imagine a people who want to have multiple customer accounts (personal, professional, etc.) this user will have to create multiple email address.

Any reason about this change ? Is there A way to disable this check ?

Have a good day.

more than one email address

Yes it is a pain.

If you are using Plesk 10.x or greater and Customer and Business Manager (CBM) the way to get around it is to stack the subscriptions under one user and then import them into the CBM.

I.E. when you create the account in Plesk 10.x you are asked for the information. Then put in as many domains/subscriptions you wish under that particular user and then add them into the CBM.

Chris
