Using Plesk Firewall - iptables problem

R

rlag

Guest
Out of the box for Plesk 7.5.4 reloaded.
Trying to use Plesk firewall to add some rules. From the GUI, I get a message saying; Could not activate firewall configuration. The firewall locks up and I have to stop and start iptables.

If I try and run the script from SSH
I get the message

# ./firewallchange.sh
iptables v1.2.9: can't initialize iptables table `nat': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

I also try to manual start psa firewall

./psa-firewall start
psa-firewall: service is disabled

Linux Red Hat 2.6.9-023stab044.3-enterprise #1 SMP i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Does this mean I need to upgrade iptables? What version ?

I paid the money to open a support ticket about this issue. Since no one else has any clue. We'll see what the outcome is.
