Question Using Plesk to forward to an https web site

Ron_Bowater

New Pleskian
Hi,

My charity has created a website using the WIX builder to which we would link our own domain. However, this will cost us money in terms of a monthly Wix subscription which we can't afford at the moment. I have access to a Plesk server (with LCN.com) and I was thinking that I could attach our domain to Plesk and then forward requests to the WIX website. This seems to basically work apart from the fact that Chrome informs me that the site is unsafe (NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID) presumably because it thinks that the link is insecure because of the forwarding.

Is there any way around this problem please ? I've tried a few things (e.g. editing .htaccess) but I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to https so I'm mainly stabbing in the dark and nothing I've done so far has reliably fixed the problem.

Can anyone help please ?

Thanks
Ron
