Warning when adding new Domain or Subdomain

Kevin_Beric

New Pleskian
Hi everyone !

I'm struggling with a warning and i can't get rid of it !

When i add a Domain or Subdomain through Plesk Panel, I get the following Warning :

Attention: relink-vhost-logs failed: mkdir: cannot create directory `./vps118861.ovh.net/logs': File exists ERROR: Cannot relink logs. Target directory '/var/www/vhosts/vps118861.ovh.net/logs' is in invalid state.

After a simple search I found this solution from parallels :
http://kb.odin.com/en/117725

I tried the 2 solutions but I still have the error... here are the results of the two commands :

[root@vps118861 logs]# ls -alh
total 2,3M
drwxr-xr-x 16 administrateur root 4,0K 20 janv. 13:59 .
drwx--x--- 17 administrateur psaserv 4,0K 20 janv. 14:31 ..
-rw-r--r-- 2 root root 85 20 janv. 06:23 access_log
-rw-r--r-- 2 root root 304K 20 janv. 03:50 access_log.processed
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1,6K 11 janv. 03:39 access_log.webstat
-rw-r--r-- 2 root root 147 20 janv. 07:10 access_ssl_log
-rw-r--r-- 2 root root 49K 20 janv. 03:50 access_ssl_log.processed
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 934 11 janv. 03:39 access_ssl_log.webstat

with administrateur as my main ftp user

[root@vps118861 logs]# grep vps118861.ovh.net /etc/passwd
administrateur:x:10000:503::/var/www/vhosts/vps118861.ovh.net:/bin/false
sakuranight1:x:10000:503::/var/www/vhosts/vps118861.ovh.net/sakuranight-photo.infocom-dev:/bin/false
sakuranight2:x:10000:503::/var/www/vhosts/vps118861.ovh.net/sakuranight-design.infocom-dev:/bin/false

I also checked the nscd daemon but it's not installed so, not the origin of the problem...

If someone could help me... and sorry for my broken english ^^

Thanks

Kevin

If this related KB article didn't help I can only recommend to create a request to support team to do in-depth investigation to find the reason and to fix it. Please create a ticket to support at https://odin.com/hcap/support/request/
You may have free support, please check what kind of Plesk license you use for available support options at http://kb.odin.com/en/121580 .
If there’s no free support in your case, you can order Plesk per-incident support at http://odin.com/hcap/support/buy-support/. Support team will contact you as soon as purchase is processed, and they will do the best to resolve it.
If it is found that your problem was caused by product bug w/o available solution or workaround from Parallels, then your purchase will be re-funded.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the free support... I own plesk through my hosting company I work with and they just told me that...
