Watchdog Module Install Problem

I am trying to install my watchdog module from the control panel in plesk and the server just times out without installing it. These past days I have been making changes to the server because of some storage issues that I had. One of the things that I tried was uninstalling the watchdog module. Now that I have my site working I want to start turning on all the modules that I took out. After trying to install the watchdog module several times, I am still not able to get it done.

What should I be checking or changing to be able to install the watchdog module.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here's an option for you. Use Plesk's autoinstaller from http://www.swsoft.com/en/download/plesk/products/ to do this from the shell. It's a very nice text-based wizard interface. Go through it once to uninstall Watchdog. Then go through it again to install Watchdog. Download the autoinstaller for the same version of Plesk that you are running. Otherwise, it could cause problems.

Thank you for your advice. I ended up just re-formating the server and start from scratch.
