• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

WatchDog vs PermitRootLogin AND Black zone with privvmpages

Hello to everybody,

I have some problems regarding my VPS account, where I use Plesk.
Daily I receive an email from watchdog where it tells me:
"Security scanning generated the following warnings (the full scanning log
is available at /var/log/rkhunter.log):

[10:47:41] Warning: root login possible. Change for your safety the 'PermitRootLogin'
[10:47:41] Warning: SSH version 1 possible allowed!"

and on Virtuozzo
at QoS Alerts in the listing I found:
Black zone ----- privvmpages

...And I have to restart VPS.
The servers crashes(?) when I read an email via webmail, and I change something in Plesk and Memory statistics is always near these values: 3.8 GB of 3.8 GB used; 29.2 MB available.

Can somebody tell me, what I have to do to solved these problems?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Adi
