  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Webalizer & AWStats problem

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I have totally deinstalled 'Webalizer & AWStats' on my server (trought plesk) because i don't need them, but on the standart domain (was created on installation) i see the following entry, but i can't deactivate that for this 'standart domain' (all other subscriptions created after deinstalltion of both don't have this entry) because 'Webalizer & AWStats' was no more installed on the server:

Second thing is that the 'Folder-Protection' for 'plesk-stat' are still there, can i delete them for every subscription?

Thanks in advance.

GUI > Service Plans > In the Service Plan click the Tab "Hosting Parameters" > Uncheck "Web statistics" and uncheck "Protect access ..." > On the tab "Permissions" uncheck "Web statistics management"
then update & sync the service plan to the subscriptions.
Now that "Statistics" icon should be gone. The tab will still be there, because besides the two statistics software packages, some basic data are calculated and displayed under that tab, but "Webstatistiken" at least will be gone.

Hello,

I don't have any option on "Hosting Parameters" for the "webstats" because the both modules are allready deinstalled.
I use "Plesk Web ADMIN Edition" (see screenshot)?? How can i deactivate that for that domain, if i try to open over that menu entry i get error 404 (whats normal)

Edit: i have now solved it by installed awstats, deactivate for that domain, and after that deinstalling awstats again :)

Thanks anyway.

I have solved that problem by installed awstats again, disabling stats for that domain and others , deinstalling awstats again, remove the folder protection, so the problem is gone now :)
