  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Where is the auto-installer?

I have a dedicated server and I want to reinstall everything on my own. I see a bunch of files on the server but I can't find where the auto-installer is so that I can download and then reupload once the OS is reinstalled. What name should the file have or where should I look?

I am not really sure what you're asking. If you're going to reinstall your OS and want to install Plesk again afterwards, why not just get the Plesk autoinstaller for your distribution from the Plesk download page? http://www.swsoft.com/en/download/plesk8

If you're looking for the location of the autoinstaller binary on a system that has the psa-autoinstaller package installed: that's /usr/local/psa/bin/autoinstaller on our CentOS systems.

Auto installer will install the PLESK only, it will not take a backup of your data.

use the plesk back-up utility to backup
remove Plesk
format your drive and install the OS
download autointaller
install pleask using autoinstaller
then restore your data.

but make sure you know what you are doing...
