With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.

Which MySQL license inside Plesk?

Hi,
MySQL made some modifications to their license program this week. I'm trying to find out what version is included with Plesk so that my license and my customer's license are OK.

Is the MySQL license with Plesk GPL or Commerical?
Is the MySQL a certified version?
Does our license allow us to upgrade to newer versions of MySQL? (Even if they are not officially supported yet?)

Many thanks,
- Jim

On linux Plesk can use any MySQL license and work ... MySQL doesn't come with Plesk, Plesk just configures the version you are using.
