Which PHP5 version?

Hi,

On Debian Sarge there isn't any PHP Version included, but Autoinstall installs the stable release of PHP 4.x. But Plesk is PHP 5 compatible. So I've installed PHP 5.2.0 Sarge 3 (Debian Backport from DotDeb) manualy and it works nice :) I think you can install any PHP 5 version your Linux offer.

Greets and best regards,
Dawn

But do you know what's the default version, for example shipped with Fedora Core 5? PHP 5.2.0?

The version php5 shipped with plesk 8.0 is a little bit old, so I want to know if plesk 8.1 contains a better version.

Sorry I don't use Fedora Core. I can only speculate: I think it will be the same PHP version as you get with Plesk 8.0.1. But I'm sure you can install youself a newer PHP Version and that works. As I said, I'm using PHP 5.20 with Plesk 8.1.0 together without any problems...

I hope this helps you a little bit.

Greets and best regards,
Dawn

PHP does not ship with Plesk, Plesk just installs the default PHP that comes with your distribution. FC5 currently has PHP 5.1.6 in its updates channel.
