• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Whitelisting feature isnt working in 7.5

Hi,

Got a problem here, have added my ip with a /32 mask to the whitelist for the mail configuration of Plesk 7.5. This should allow me to relay from this IP (therefore without auth) with no probs. I know if i open up the machine as a relay it works ok.

But with the mta set to auth required and the whitelist enabled with my ip - since I do not use authentication - qmail throws out the 553 error since it thinks it needs to deliver the mail locally - hence this isnt working correctly.

553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

The relay from the server itself (by logging into the machine and telnetting as localhost) works fine.

Anyone got a solution or is having the same problems?

Thanks.

How many IP addresses do you have on the client host? If you have several, then it is possible that another IP used in IP connection.
