Why are my domains all appearing in the root folder of first domain ?

New Pleskian
Hi Guys,

I have a VPS windows server on a single ip address which I would like to use to host my 4 sites.

When I use the "Add Domain" button each domain has a folder automatically created within the inetpub/vhosts folder

However, the root folder for each site actually gets created within the root folder of the first domain. Therefore, the inetpub/vhosts folder seems to play no part in the site.
e.g.
inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com [contains all the root folders]
inetpub/vhosts/domain2.com [not used]
inetpub/vhosts/domain3.com [not used]
inetpub/vhosts/domain4.com [not used]

Within inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com the following folders appear.

inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com/httpdocs
inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com/httpsdocs
inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com/cgi-bin
inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com/domain2
inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com/domain3
inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com/domain4

I would have expected that typing in www.doomain2.com would have taken me to the inetpub/vhosts/domain2.com/index.html file, but it takes me to then inetpub/vhosts/domain1.com/domain2/index.html file instead. Therefore the folder which were created in the inetpub/vhosts/seem to play no part in the actual web site.

Is it my configuration or is this normal ????

Many thanks,

Pete
