Question Why do people rely on Google PageSpeed Insights for site speed?

Hello everyone,,
It's EXTREMELY inaccurate. For example, I had one client that returned a 90+ score but the page still took forever to load and at times, the site would crash. Had another client that had an awful speed score in the low 30's but the website would load within a blink of an eye and had no speed issues at all. Do you SEO's really rely on pagespeed insights as a trustworthy, accurate indicator of a website's speed https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/ https://happymod.site/?

Use GTMetrix if you don't believe in Google PageSpeed Insights. Many alternatives exist.

I think their logic is that it's Google search engine so you should follow Google's recommendations.

I personally prefer using GTMetrix and Pingdom's speed test.

I think the issue is mostly with server load times. I've had my clients site load in 4s one day and then over 10s another day because she is registered with a shitty host. The page speed rank varies randomly because of that.
cheers, printsbery
