Hey guys,
When will the Wordpress auto-install to root be fixed? If multiple non-experienced customers do not know to choose "custom" install, then to delete "wordpress" in domain.com/wordpress, then they will be stuck with domain.com/wordpress and will be flustered by having additional work that they aren't prepared for, which is no good..
When will this be fixed? This will be a very difficult process and a very non-friendly experience especially if there are 100's of inexperienced customers with the same issue at once. This will actually present unfriendly responses from customers when on our website we promise a "1-click Wordpress easy install" feature..
In other words, by default we strongly feel that it should install within root.. only an experienced user would know that Wordpress can be installed in a subdirectory. With that being said, they would actually be more conscious to choose custom install and choose the right options suitable for them.
Please advise, thnx!
