• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Wordpress Database

IATechsupport

Basic Pleskian
After building a site on a proofing domain using the word press wizard in a clients control panel and then exporting the database to be setup under the live domain.

All the tables in the database are there but showing as zero bytes !!
And now the site will not run obviously.

Any ideas why this would happen would be great..

Hi,

You may need to check the "$table_prefix" in the wp-config.php file. If you imported the exported database, it will have the original table_prefix and you need to make sure your live domain's wp-config.php "$table_prefix" matches.

Regards.

Sorry i didnt quite mate myself clear.

We didnt export the DB properly but accidentally deleted it.

We have tried to restore the db from the PVA system but the folder structure only shows FRM files and not the normal MYD and MYI files.

The wordpress site was setup in plesk using the one click install.

Does this create the MYD and MYI files elsewhere.

I need these additional sites to restore the DB with the use of the FRM files.
