Wordpress Installation Issues

Hi,

I'm running a new Godaddy VDH server (Win 2008 R2) with Plesk Panel 9.5.2 (they call it their deluxe panel with the Application Vault).

I've set next to nothing up on the server itself logged in through RDP. On Plesk, I've set up various domains, & installed Wordpress through the application vault feature.

Wordpress installed fine (although its a pain in the *** that you can't install it directly onto the root domain directory).

However, when I come to make any changes such as adding plugins or installing new themes I get the following message:

Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack.zip…

Warning: touch() [function.touch]: Unable to create file C:\...\httpdocs/wp-content/all-in-one-seo-pack.tmp because Permission denied in C:\...\httpdocs\wp-admin\includes\file.php on line 213
Download failed. Could not create Temporary file.

I've done a bit of hunting around the web & the best explanation that I can find is that PHP is running in safe mode. However I cannot find where the switch is on the control panel?

I welcome guidance on the & any opinions as to what might also be the problem?

Thanks

wp-content probably has no write permissions. You may try to set write permissions for this folder or you may try to upload theme manually via FTP and then turn it on in wordpress.
