Wordpress Toolkit - install restore point into a different domain

drhaldun

New Pleskian
I cloned my website to a demo subdomain. Performed several changes to the website and posts and then I copied demo subdomain to the original. However, since this is a blog, some of the writers have made several changes to their posts at the original site during this period and those changes were lost during copy. Is there a way I can retrieve those changes from the restore point? Can I install this to the demo site and copy the posts from there?

Thanks

To return your original website to the state before synchronising with your demo site, you can restore your original website from a restore point and then sync the data from demo to original, but only specific tables (do not include a table with posts to selection). Unfortunately, you can not just add posts from your demo site to your original website through WordPress Toolkit without replacing all post on original to all post from your demo site.
