• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Question Wordpress Website running PHP-FPM PHP 7.3 with Centos 7 shows 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable

willbest

New Pleskian
My Wordpress Website running PHP-FPM PHP 7.3 with Centos 7 shows 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable: failed to make connection to WordPress frontend and backend. I guess it is a FPM issue as I have to access Services in Plesk and restart/refresh the 7.3 PHP-FPM before I can access the website again and in some few minutes as I try to load a page on the website it happens again. Again I heard back to restart the PHP-FPM.

Is there a way to solve this problem once and for all without the back and forth?

Please check the 503 message: https://i.postimg.cc/g0NjHr5J/503.png

What kind of exact error message do you have in the related php-fpm log?

IgorG, I am quite new to Plesk... Is /var/log/plesk-php73-fpm/error.log in the Files Manager or I have to use SSH to access it?

I have logged into SSH how do I access the PHP-FPM Log?
I advise you to hire an experienced Linux administrator or contact Plesk technical support.
They will perform an investigation and fixing this problem directly on your server.
