The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions. Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.
Hi there,
We are just setting up our first Plesk server aimed at hosting customers and I notice that the emails being sent out by Plesk are both limited in their content as well as lacking account passwords.
While I can see that there are security issues by having passwords sent by email, the...
I might be misinterpreting this question, but if the question is whether you can have a mail server on the management node, while the associated hosting service is on a different node, then the answer - from my understanding of the roadmap - is no.
Somewhere down the line, centralized mail and...
Hello,
First of all: Congratulations on the release of this extension! We have really been waiting for a suitable multi-server solution, so I am looking forward to testing this. However, as of right now, the extension seems to be lacking a few features which are important to us, namely:
-...
I figured this one out. It appears as if Plesk for some reason has created a zone for the /24 subnet we're using on this server, which took me by surprise, as I cannot recall telling Plesk to do so. The solution was to comment out the reference to the zone from /etc/named.conf. However this file...
Hi Igor,
Thanks. I don't think the issue is related to bad name servers n /etc/resolv.conf. I've tried both our own pair of name servers (which we use across a number of other linux servers) as well as 8.8.8.8, but they all return the same result.
However, I should rephrase the initial...
Hello all,
I am having an issue with PTR lookups for any IP addresses (it doesn't have to be ours) fail. This is causing inbound mail to be rejected.
E.g.: Doing "dig -x IP" for IP-addresses that are known to have a PTR record will return no results.
Being new to Plesk I am not quite sure...
Also note that mailparse should load after mbstring. Because .ini-files are loaded alphabetically, this means that you might want to name the .ini-file where you refer to mailparse.so with a different name (e.g. instead of mailparse.ini, you can try z_mailparse.ini). At least that was our...
Hello all,
I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere, but my searches failed to find the answer I am lookin for.
According to this page, Plesk should have the capability to "(...) build centralized DNS for multiple Plesk servers".
I am looking to deploy multiple Plesk servers and have...
Hi all,
We have a few applications which require the setup of email piping. I see that there is no way to do this in the control panel itself, but I have also failed to find a description of how to do this through the command line.
Perhaps somebody would be able to share with me how this can...
Hello all
We're considering to offer Plesk to our customers and while running a demo license a few questions have come to mind, which I hope the community will be able to answer:
DNS: I see that there is an extension for running an external name server as slave. Does anyone know if any of the...
